Discover Pho - Noodlebar (Kreuzberg)

If you're looking to indulge in a comforting bowl of delicious pho while exploring the vibrant streets of Kreuzberg, look no further than Pho - Noodlebar on Adalbertstraße. Nestled in the heart of Berlin, this cozy eatery offers a fresh take on traditional Vietnamese pho, with a unique twist that has quickly made it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.

Walking through the door, you’re immediately greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere. The interior is simple yet chic, with a modern design that blends effortlessly with the cozy vibe that makes Pho - Noodlebar feel like a home away from home. The open kitchen lets you catch a glimpse of the talented chefs at work, skillfully preparing each dish with precision and care. It's clear that the team takes pride in what they serve, and that dedication is reflected in the quality of the food.

Pho, the traditional Vietnamese noodle soup, is the star of the menu here. But don’t expect just any pho. The restaurant has perfected the art of crafting a rich, aromatic broth that perfectly balances flavors. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a pho connoisseur, each bowl offers a memorable experience. The broth is the result of hours of simmering bones and fresh ingredients, giving it a depth of flavor that’s hard to beat.

What sets Pho - Noodlebar apart is the attention to detail in each dish. From the quality of the noodles to the variety of fresh herbs, lime, and chili served alongside, every component is carefully considered. For those who want to get creative, there’s also a selection of toppings to choose from, allowing you to customize your pho just the way you like it.

Their signature pho comes with a choice of proteins, from tender slices of beef to succulent chicken, all cooked to perfection. The pho is served with all the usual accompaniments like bean sprouts, Thai basil, and a wedge of lime, but what really elevates the dish is the perfect balance of flavors. The broth is neither too salty nor too bland, but rich in spices with just the right amount of sweetness and depth.

For those not in the mood for pho, Pho - Noodlebar also offers a range of other delicious Vietnamese dishes like fresh spring rolls and hearty rice bowls. The crispy spring rolls are filled with fresh veggies and meat, making them the perfect appetizer to start your meal. The rice bowls, on the other hand, are a hearty, satisfying alternative, with plenty of flavor and toppings to keep your taste buds engaged.

The drinks menu is just as thoughtful as the food. They offer a variety of traditional Vietnamese beverages, including refreshing iced teas and the ever-popular Vietnamese iced coffee. For those looking for something a little stronger, the bar also serves a selection of craft beers and cocktails that pair perfectly with the bold flavors of the pho.

Pho - Noodlebar’s commitment to quality and flavor extends to their customer service. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to offer recommendations or accommodate dietary restrictions. It’s clear that the team strives to create an experience that’s about more than just food-it’s about enjoying a meal that brings people together.

The location itself is ideal for exploring Kreuzberg, a neighborhood known for its diverse cultural influences and vibrant street art scene. Whether you're in the area for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, Pho - Noodlebar offers a satisfying, flavorful experience that’s well worth the visit.

  • The food was really nice. I got the daily curry with crispy duck My friends had curry tofu and it was equally as tasty to them Big minus for refusing to serve tap water. The litchi lemonade was rather bland in taste, wouldn’t recommend Especially not for 5,5 :/ The atmosphere is nice. Nice lighting, feels comfortable. The service was ok. Berlin style, not particularly friendly. Also not very unfriendly. Ok for a quick dinner.

  • We attended a summer role workshop with the lovely owners of the restaurant. It started with an introduction about rolled food around the world and the 3 different vietnamese versions of the summer role. The rich variety of ingredients were presented very appealing in separate bowls. The process of rolling takes a bit of practice, but it was a lot of fun. I highly recommend visiting this place! The atmosphere is very authentic.

  • You are lucky if you get to try this place out. The food is delicious, and the portion size is really big. Ofcourse based on the choice of meat the price increases but the quality matches the price. We recommend the Udon, Beef Pho, and the BBQ Loin Ribs. The service was fast and professional.

  • The chicken pho was amazing, high quality, and stomach-filling. It had a generous portion of soup and noodles. The clear (salty) soup was good, and the noodles were light and fluffy. Adding bean sprouts and a few drops of lemon enhances the taste. The service was quick. The menus are a bit pricey. Highly recommended.
